General expectations of staff of Hamilton County Board of MR/DD are:

1. Customer Service- Understanding his or her role as a service provider and seeks to meet the needs of his or her customers; is approachable, listens to concerns.

2. Teamwork and Working Relations- Contributes to the team, is cooperative, and works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors

3. Respect- Consistently treats everyone fairly, with courtesy, dignity and respect; is open to and values differences; does not demean, belittle or use degrading speech; uses suitable verbal and non-verbal signals during conversations.

4. Effective Communication (oral and written)- Effectively communicates when speaking, listening, and writing; is clear and concise; converys ideas opinions, and/or thoughts; encourages open conversation and interaction.

5. Vision/Mission Support- Exhibits values that support the agency; contributes to and achieves work tasks that support the vision and mission.

6. Quality and Quantity of Work- Accomplishes required functions of the job thoroughly and accurately; demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and inventiveness; produces high quality work; works independently; applies necessary skills and knowledge.
