Michael Medley was born in Wilmington, Ohio and lived there for three years, before moving with his family to East Walnut Hills.
The oldest of four, he has two brothers, one of which plays football for Wilmington College, and a sister, who is studying to become a nurse.
Michael works five days a week at Easter Seals Building Value, as a cashier and answering the phone.
"He is great…always ready to take care of things. He excels at customer service and working at the front desk," said Lisa Doxsee, Communication Manager at Easter Seals.
Before Easter Seals, Michael worked at Fifth Third Bank, and attended ITT tech, working on an associates in drafting. He graduated from Western Hills High School and also attended Diamond Oaks in its drafting program. He has a year of courses left to complete his degree at ITT Tech, after he pays for his first year.
"After I get my drafting degree, I want to start my own drafting company," said Michael.
Michael is also active in his church, Wilmington Zion Hill Church of God. His family drives there every Sunday because his grandfather is the pastor. Michael helps with the summer kids program.
In addition, he loves politics, making sure to vote in every election, being with his family, following the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Reds, and surfing the internet.
