Families Helping Families - Information Network for Families

Families Helping Families is a community network of families and friends of individuals with disabilities who are there to help one another.

They are there to make sure families have:

• information about their concerns
• help finding answers
• support and training to become stronger advocates for their family member
• network opportunities with other families
• opportunities to give feedback to MR/DD
• gatherings where they feel welcomed and free from judgment
• a commitment to work to empower each other by promoting positive problem solving.
