Therapy Services

Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services offers several types of therapy, also called ancillary services. In order to receive ancillary services, an individual must be referred by their service facilitator, or EI Specialist, or have it in their IEP.

The services are:

  • Occupational Therapy, which helps individuals develop, regain, and build skills that are important for independent functioning.
  • Physical Therapy, which focuses on improvement of physical performance.
  • Rehabilitation Technical Services, which accommodates the environment around individuals to meet their needs for more independent living.
  • Speech Language Pathology - which address speech, language and swallowing disorders.

Contact your service facilitator or EI specialist for more information.
