Early Intervention
Childhood is an important time for learning. Early learning experiences will influence the growth and development of your child. Our early intervention services will help you support your dreams and visions for your child. We believe you are the most effective teacher for your child’s learning. The program, also called EI, serves children under the age of three identified as having a disability or delay. Ther service coordinator will first work with the family to write an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) which details you service. Each family will then be assigned an EI specialist who either comes to the home to work with the child and family, or is at one of six center based prgrams where classes are held once a week.
The EI specialist will also make referrals for other needs, such as speech, physical or occupational therapy.
Please see Get Started: Infants and Toddlers, for details on how to be enrolled.
