Therapy
Therapy, called Ancillary Services in the agency, is a department that encompasses several services. In order to receive Ancillary Services, an individual must be referred by their service facilitator or an EI specialist, or the service must be listed on their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
The services are:
- Occupational Therapy- helps individuals improve overall daily functioning and achieve maximum independence and quality of life, by teaching self help skills and/or adapting tasks or modifying the environment.
- Physical Therapy- assists individuals to achieve their maximum level of independence, safety, and comfort in mobility related skills with equipment and training.
- Rehabilitation Technical Services- involves designing, constructing and modifying adaptive equipment allowing the individual to increase his or her skill level.

- Speech-Language Pathology- helps individuals to maximize their communication potential to achieve independence by understanding and expressing their wants/needs in a variety of methods, which include talking, using augmentative alternative communication devices/equipment or sign language
