School Age Program

Kids from Rost SchoolThe school age program provides individualized instruction to help your child develop to his or her full potential. It is our goal to deliver quality programming so that each student served can successfully live, work and play in his or her community. Student progress is reported quarterly with an annual review of each student's individualized education plan (IEP).

There are two schools run by the agency that serve several hundred students:

Fairfax School, in Madisonville
Rost School, in Bridgetown

In addition, many school age children are supported by agency staff in partnership with public schools, via our satellite classrooms program.

Along with functional academics, special instruction is given in practical skills for living in the community and in the home, as well as training in vocational skills. Occupational and physical therapy, along with speech and language services, are available as specified in the IEP.
